Pre-Orders
We offer ‘Pre-orders’ on some new season products. Certain products will be available for preorder from August to February. Not all products will be available to order for this entire period. The ‘Pre-order’ system gives you a chance to secure the new season products as well as receive a discount off full retail price. The discount percentage can vary on each product. ‘Pre-orders’ will be shipped as soon as the product arrives in stock (this is usually May/June). On receipt of purchase we will advise the customer on approximate delivery date. From time to time a product line may be cancelled and not delivered from the brand’s New Zealand importer, in this case a best match alternative will be offered or a full refund on the product which has been cancelled. No refunds for ‘change of mind’ will be issued on ‘Pre-orders’ products.
Online Purchases Returns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items, with original tags attached within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We’ll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within three weeks of Nelson Ski Shop Limited receiving the returned items, however in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the courier (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply contact us at:
nelsonskishop@gmail.com
or 021 0232 5454 (Caitlin) 022 097 6336 (Russell).
We’ll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we’ve received and processed the returned items.
NOTE: Please do not tape up, or attach labels directly to the retail packaging, please wrap the product first.
Exchange Policy
If you chose the wrong size and need something larger or smaller, or if you would prefer another colour. As long as you can return the item with the original packaging and ensure all the tags are still attached we are more than happy to exchange your purchase (if stock availability allows).
Warranty
Should the product be damaged on arrival, or if you discover any defects in your product, please contact us via nelsonskishop@gmail.com or 021 0232 5454 (Caitlin), or 022 097 6336 (Russell). We will organise with you to return the item for assessment. After assessment we will approve repair, a replacement or refund as appropriate. All products are warranted against defects in manufacturing or materials over the reasonable life of the item.
Skis, boots, bindings and other components are subject to harsh environments and wear and tear.
If near the end of a given warranty period and a repair/replacement is not possible Nelson Ski Shop reserves the right to offer:
An alternative of equal or greater value (colour may vary) or
A Partial refund proportional to the remaining life of the product.
* Always install, repair and use your product in strict compliance with the product’s instructions failure to do so might damage the products and/or cause a serious accident.
Workshop services performed on second hand skis carry no warranty as there are too many factors outside our control (previous crashes, water ingress, previous mounting or repairs).
